WaveLog Pro Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026. Applies to the WaveLog Pro app (iOS, iPadOS, macOS) and this site’s Terms/Privacy pages.

Short version

WaveLog Pro is local-first. Your audio files, sound logs, and exported reports stay on your device. We do not run an account system, analytics SDK, crash service, or advertising network. This version does not use iCloud or CloudKit.

What the app stores on your device

Imported metadata, flags, notes, production-header fields, and a leftover-export counter (UserDefaults) live in on-device storage (SwiftData / UserDefaults). Uninstalling the app deletes that data. We cannot read it.

What leaves the device

Diagnostic data, if any, reaches us only through Apple’s optional “Share with App Developers” channel (Xcode Organizer). We do not collect diagnostics ourselves. MetricKit is not in this version.

What we do not collect

No name, email, or phone from inside the app. No location, contacts, microphone, camera, or advertising identifier. No tracking. No data sold or shared with data brokers.

This website

These pages exist to publish Terms and Privacy for App Store Review and in-app links. They load no third-party trackers. If you later submit an email through a form on this domain, that address is used only for that stated purpose and is not attached to a marketing CRM unless we tell you first.

Children

The app is a professional productivity tool. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we add iCloud sync or any other network feature, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that release ships.
